Maple Syrup-Soy Glazed Salmon Salad


  • 4 salmon filets (cut into 2 inch rectangle)
  • 8 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • pinch of fresh ground black pepper
  • clove of garlic, minced

Cut the salmon filet into a square about 2 inches in size. You are cutting a small piece of salmon as an appetizer.

Combine the maple syrup, soy suace, lime juice, black pepper and garlic in a bowl. Place the pîeces of salmon in the marinade and let sit for about 30 minutes in the fridge.

When ready to cook, remove the pieces of salmon to a fry pan and cook on medium high heat. The maple syrup will carmelize on the salmon. Cook on both sides for about two minutes each. Then place the plan in the oven at 375 F for eight minutes.

Place the salmon on a green salad and serve.
