Whole fresh chicken
Mixture of seasonings: chopped Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, salt, and pepper - enough to make 1/2 cup in total
One can of beer
So drink 1/4 of the the beer and then insert the beer can into the cavity of the chicken.
Stand the chicken on a hot barbeque grill with the deer can and the chicken legs adjusted to support the chicken.
Close the lid and then cook at a hot temperature, around 450 degree F, for thirty (30) minutes.
Remove and let stand, covered with foil for 10 - 15 minutes so that the juices distribute through the meet. Cut and serve.
Dinner at Jeff & Natalie Cutler's one evening was "Beer Can Chicken" which turned out to be an easy way to prepare a very tasty barbequed whole chicken.
