Welcome to Great Places to Stay in Italy

We travel extensively throughout Italy and over the course of our travels have found a great many Great Places To Stay. We hope you find the information helpful.

In the fall 2017 we will travel in Italy. We have booked great locations and we are looking forward to our stays at:

•  La Pecora Ladra, in Montaldo di Castro, staying in Montalto Marina area. The loft-apartments include free wi-fi, and beautifully furnished and this will be a great way to get some relaxation in right at the start of the trip.
• Manarola Vista Mare Apartment - we are staying in Manarola on the Cinque Terra. Therre are three apartments and two rooms. We can't wait to get into our apartment!
• In Bergamo, we will be staying at the Hotel Gombit, which is located next to the 13th century Torre del Gombito in the old upper town of Bergamo. The four floor, 13 room hotel is member of the Design Hotels.
• In the Crete Senesi we will be staying at the Podere Fornaci near Asciano, about 19 km from Siena. The ancient house of the agriturismo dates back to 1800.
• In the vAL D'Orcia, we will be staying at the Podere Pietreta, near Radicofani, and old medieval village. The Podere Pietreta is an old stone country house that dates to the 18 century. A three-hectare park surrounds the Podere.
• In Rome we have a roof-top apartment that overlooks the Piazza Cavour.
