COVID-19 put a halt to our international travels in 2020. All was not lost as our trips within British Columbia were great substitutes. We we stayed in a number of beautiful locations and saw more of our own beautiful province.
For 2021 our travels included Spring/Summer travels in beautiful British Columbia, and a return to Italy in the Fall.
Naramata
Within British Columbia we traveled to Comox, Powell River and Victoria on Vancouver Island; and Naramata, Oliver, Penticton, Summerland, Kelowna in the Okanagan interior; and Nelson and Wells Grey Provincial Park in the Kootenay Regions. The first "head dome" took place during this time, and travelling in the interior of British Columbia was extra hot. It was in the 40s on some days. Despite the extreme heat we had a great time.

Terracina Vecchio - in the Lazio Region, along the Coast south of Rome
Our direct Air France flight Vancouver to Paris is the best wy to get to Europe. He had all our COVID-related documents in hand so the flight and entry in Italy was smooth. Due to the length of the holiday where we would be driving, we returned to the Renault TT program to arrange for our car. That program requires possession of the car for at least 21 days. I must admit I like Renault TT Program: brand new car, an agreement to buy the car if not returned, if you have any problems just go to a Renault Service Centre. When you pick up the car a representative sits with you in the car and goes over all the controls. Nothing like that happens for most car rentals.
We traveled through Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and concluded the trip with a week in Rome.
