When you are touring the area around Lago di Garda, at the very tip of the lake is Riva del Garda. We visited here in 1997. The Hoteo Mirvalle is located on the road towards Limone. The rooms in the older section of the building have the feel of a grand hotel and are appropriately decorated. The hotel staff are vewry friendly, parking is included and the room rates includes a great breakfast.
