In September 2001 we travelled with our friends, Chris and Carmen Grant, through Italy on a four-week tour. The trip was some of the best that Italy offers.

• Week One - South of France, Lake Garda and Venice
• Week Two - Tuscany
• Week Three - Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompei
• Week Four - Roma - Cinque Terre, Portofino, Alassio and a return to the South of France.

From Nice our route took us along the coast, then across Northern Italy to Venice. From Venice we went straight down to central Italy to arrive in Tuscany. From Tuscany we drove to the Amalfi Coast. From Amalfi to Rome. From Rome up the coast to the Cinque Terre. From Cinque Terre return to Nice.
